I pray God I may be given the wisdom and the prudence to do
my duty in the true spirit of this great people.
Woodrow Wilson
In entering upon this great office I must humbly invoke the God of
our fathers for wisdom and firmness to execute its high and responsible duties in such a manner as to restore harmony and ancient friendship among the people of the several States and to preserve our free institutions throughout many generations.
James Buchanan
So we pray to Him now for the wisdom to see our way clearly … to
see the way that leads to a better life for ourselves and all our fellow men – to the achievement of His will to peace on earth.
Franklin D. Roosevelt
I would like to have my frequent prayer answered that God let my
life be meaningful in the enhancement of His kingdom and that my
life might be meaningful in the enhancement of the lives of my fellow human beings.
Jimmy Carter
Make us strong to do Your work, willing to heed and hear Your will, and write upon our hearts these words, “Use power to help people.”
George H. W. Bush

Letter to my State Senator –
I have been watching a video from Congressman Randy Forbes regarding Judge Crabb from Wisconsin who made a ruling that the National Day of Prayer is unconstitutional.
I want to say that I am personally sick of judges giving themselves permission to interpret the Constitution – but God reminds me that interpretation is afforded to us all, along with the right, even, to believe in Him or not.
The history of mankind in Scripture consistently reveals the misinterpretations of man regarding His word. So our Constitution is just as subject to misinterpretation as is His Holy Word.
With that fact before us, nothing is left to do but to fight faulty thinking and misinterpretation with the truth, and hope above all hopes, that it is God’s will to hear the cries of His people and silence the belligerent assertions of unrighteous judges.
Please know that I do support and standby the Congressional Prayer Caucus and its affiliates who are fighting to overturn Judge Crabb’s ruling in Wisconsin. The National Day of Prayer is a National Institution, not to be trifled with.
Sincerely, Michelle S. Winkler

“…And Holy is His name. And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.
He has showed strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts, He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty…”
Luke 1: 49-53
“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel…He has raised up a horn of Salvation for us…That we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us. To perform the mercy promised to our fathers and to remember His Holy covenant. To grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might SERVE HIM WITHOUT FEAR, in holiness and righteousness before Him ALL THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES!
Luke 1: 68-69, 71- 75
